Overview of the role:
- The  Sales Development Trade Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify and nurture sales leads, driving footfall to BYD showrooms and ultimately converting into sales orders. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong sales driven mindsets and a deep understanding of planning and running B2C automotive customer events.
What you will do:
- Drive the funnel conversion to achieve your own monthly sales targets.
- Boosting sales ambitions to energize  traditional showroom ambiance to a lively and delightful BYD brand experience.
- Develop and create a special marketing calendar, which will be aligned to its own event sales campaigns to help achieving our sales targets.
- Accountable to lead customers to our showroom, with appealing events catered to their needs, to enhance customer traffic by targeting the right audience and through the right channels, launching exclusive deals.
- Accountable to execute and oversee the showroom events (including suppliers and teams involved), which will enable our showroom staff to focus on providing best in class customer service and engage with potential partners to improve the brand visibility.
- Mananging regular reports highlighting achievements (compared to previous set targets), lessons learned and activities from our competitors.Â
- Managing customer experience and all related costs within the expectations.
- Responsible to enhance in-store sales conversion, developing the showroom customer centric activities  and executing weekly showroom events by managing suppliers and respective teams involved.
- Responsible to strategize sales campaigns, enhance customer traffic and promote sales conversion activities.Â
- Act as a key role to enhancing the path to purchase for our customers, through promoting a joyful and interactive experience at our showrooms.
- This role will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with internal departments (showroom Sales team, Marketing, Digital etc.) by experimenting and bringing new solutions to meet our customer needs and pain points.

Required skills to be successful:
- Previous experience in both Sales and Marketing related position.
- Previous experience dealing with Automotive showroom customer events.
- Accountability, collaboration and capable of working in a Team environment.
- Hands-on and proactive attitude.
- Profiecient in MicroSoft Office packages, Internet/Intranet access skills.
About the Team:
- This role will be reporting directly to the Retail Director and will liase with internal and external stakeholders.
What equips you for the role:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3 years’ sales and marketing experience.
- Automotive experience with Dealership / FMCG events and sales campaigns (GCC or abroad).
- Proven track record of developing and organizing dealership events (B2C).
- Experience with matrix environment and coordinating different stakeholders

- High energy profile to run events with sales staff, dealing directly with customers.
- Accountability to make successful events to promote dealership traffic and drive sales target achievement.
