Role Purpose:

  • This role reports directly into the Chief People Officer and leads a team of employee relation managers who are responsible for designing and governing the frameworks that manage discipline, performance-related decisions, and workforce risk across all regional geographies.
  • Champions a culture where Agthia values are lived, providing leadership with clear insight into conduct and performance risk to sustain respectful, high-performing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the ER function across geographies, embedding consistent case standards, investigation rigor, and governance discipline. Coach ER Managers on complex cases and elevate ER capability maturity.
  • Define and govern enterprise discipline and grievance standards; oversee complex, high-risk, or reputational ER cases ensuring fairness and legal defensibility.
  • Provide strategic ER advisory to business leaders and HR Directors on compliance, labor regulations, and policy implications.
  • Own enterprise interpretation and communication of ER-related policies, ensuring consistent application across all geographies.
  • Act as final escalation authority for sensitive ER matters; assess systemic risk patterns and define resolution strategies with legal safeguards.
  • Review ER case trends to identify workforce risks; refine governance frameworks, controls, reporting, and prevention strategies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Law, Industrial/Labor Relations, or Business Administration; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • ER experience advising senior leaders on ER risk, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance management.
  • Courage and confidence to lead difficult discussions, using strong verbal and written communication skills to convey messages clearly and effectively.
  • Experience leading ER governance across multiple BUs/geographies, including enterprise case standards and audit readiness.
  • Strong knowledge of Labor Law and regional employment regulations; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
