Role Purpose:

The Manager – Talent Acquisition leads the end-to-end processes for attracting, sourcing, and selecting high-caliber talent to ensure the business meets its strategic priorities.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Candidate Sourcing

  • Drive Talent Acquisition advertising initiatives, ensuring vacancies are allocated to the appropriate Talent Acquistion Associate and a tailored sourcing strategy is developed for each role.
  • Source external talent for current and future hiring needs using effective and diverse sourcing channels.
  • Ensure timely and professional initial screening of CVs.
  • Maintain a strong and sustainable talent pipeline to meet organizational requirements.
  • Promote and uphold the Majid Al Futtaim Retail Human Capital brand to enhance the employee value proposition.
  • Manage the administration and execution of candidate aptitude and psychometric assessments.
  • Oversee candidate interview scheduling to ensure a smooth process.

Vendor Management

  • Identify, manage, and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and overseas vendors.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance on a regular basis.
  • Ensure service providers meet company requirements, and renew or terminate contracts based on performance reviews.
  • Develop and implement an audit process to assess vendor effectiveness.

Recruitment Campaigns

  • Plan and deliver recruitment open days in alignment with company standards and specifications.
  • Identify and recommend new initiatives to enhance the company’s employer brand and positioning as an employer of choice.

Policies and Procedures

  • Ensure the MAF Retail recruitment portal complies with established policies and procedures.
  • Guarantee that all internal and external communications align with the organization’s overall strategy.

Database Management

  • Ensure proper maintenance, protection, and confidentiality of the company’s recruitment database.
  • Prepare, review, and update weekly, quarterly, and annual recruitment reports.

Human Capital Responsibilities

  • Support the performance management cycle by setting objectives, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and contributing insights to senior management.
  • Provide mentorship to build a continuous talent pipeline for critical positions.
  • Offer input on training needs and coordinate with the Human Capital team to support training programs.
  • Develop and implement on-the-job training for team members.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the annual manpower plan.
  • Ensure adherence to Majid Al Futtaim Retail’s corporate policies and related procedures.
