Job Description

ersian Horizon is hiring a Business Acquisition Manager to own the execution and governance of our business acquisition strategy.

This role sits at the center of our acquisition pipeline—translating strategy into action, aligning teams, and ensuring only high-quality, strategy-aligned opportunities move forward.

You will not be the final policy maker, but you will be responsible for enforcing standards, validating opportunities, and recommending go / no-go decisions to senior leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute acquisition strategy across defined:
  • Industries
  • Regions
  • ROI targets
  • Risk parameters
  • Lead and align acquisition functions, including:
  • Business Sourcing / Scouts
  • Pre-Qualification
  • Evaluation & Packaging
  • Sales & Deal teams
  • Ensure all opportunities meet internal acquisition criteria before escalation
  • Use your professional network to help source qualified business opportunities
  • Review and validate:
  • Pricing logic
  • Risk positioning
  • Commercial assumptions
  • Make go / no-go recommendations and prepare cases for final approval
  • Maintain discipline, consistency, and quality across the acquisition pipeline

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in business acquisition, investment, brokerage, or corporate development
  • Multi-industry exposure with strong commercial judgment
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional deal teams
  • Strong professional network relevant to sourcing or acquisitions
  • Decisive, structured, and comfortable enforcing standards
