Role Overview We’re looking for a Head of Operations – Transport to lead, optimize, and scale our end-to-end logistics and operational performance across the global commodity supply chain. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can drive efficiency, reliability, and profitability across complex trade corridors spanning transport, warehousing and customs clearing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team by preparing sales proposals, presentations, and quotations
- Establish clear communication channels with the sales team to ensure seamless exchange of information
- Prepare and process sales orders, invoices, and other relevant
- documentation
- Support the internal teams in managing customer accounts during contract renewals & pricing negotiations
- Coordinate and communicate with customers to gather necessary information, answer inquiries, and provide updates on shipments, rates, and services
- Collaborate with internal departments including operations, commercial and customer service
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, customer profiles, and sales activity reports using CRM software and other tools.
- Prepare reports and maintain a comprehensive reporting system to track and analyze sales profitability, margins, quotations, and other sales related metrics
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide insights that contribute to sales strategies and pricing decisions

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Power Point software programs & Excel Skills.
