Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to play a central role in managing and optimizing financial operations for a high-growth e-commerce and fast-fashion environment. You will bring deep accounting expertise, financial control, and strategic insight to support supply chain agility, compliance, and data-driven decision-making. The role includes oversight of day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, compliance, treasury, and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record and manage day-to-day financial transactions in our accounting systems.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely and precise handling of accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and maintain up-to-date general ledger records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Maintain Prepayment and Assets report
• Support the finance team with budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.
• Collaborate on tax filings, including VAT and other compliance requirements for the US and UK markets.
• Contribute to internal and external audits by organizing and providing necessary documentation.
• Handle petty cash, staff reimbursements.
• Maintain organized financial records and suggest improvements to streamline processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Stay updated with accounting best practices and software tools

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA Intermediate) preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience depending on the role level.
• Experience in coordinating with external auditors
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with familiarity in Excel and accounting systems Xero being a plus.
• An understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
