Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cost accounting processes, analyzing financial data, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in cost accounting, ERP systems, and financial analysis to drive operational efficiency and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities

✔ Prepare comprehensive cost reports and present findings to the CFO

✔ Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures, including ABC costing

✔ Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

✔ Monitor budget performance and prepare variance analysis

✔ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

✔ Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls

✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and strategic projects

Qualifications & Skills

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CMA certification required)

📊 Minimum 5 years of experience managing costing within ERP systems

💡 Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

💻 Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and PowerPoint

⚙ Expertise in managing costing systems in ERP

🗣 Excellent communication and presentation skills
