Performance Marketing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytically minded, and operationally strong Marketing Performance & Reporting candidate to join our growing marketing team.

This is a pivotal individual contributor role responsible for owning the performance measurement, reporting infrastructure, and cross-functional coordination of the marketing department. The role ensures that every campaign, channel, event, and department activity is tracked, reported on, and continuously optimised — providing the data-backed narrative that leadership, Finance, and the wider team increasingly rely on. While performance reporting is the primary mandate, the role retains a coordination function across all MarCom functions, ensuring the department operates with clarity, alignment, and operational discipline at all times.

Responsibilities

Performance Reporting & Analytics

  • Support in the end-to-end performance reporting function for all marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, outdoor, and event channels — producing structured reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for the relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining the department-wide marketing KPI framework, ensuring all team members submit structured monthly performance inputs that feed into consolidated reporting for leadership.
  • Leverage AI-powered analytics and reporting tools — including Claude, ChatGPT, and data visualisation platforms — to accelerate report generation, identify performance patterns, and surface insights that would not be immediately visible from raw data alone.

MarCom Coordination & Operations

  • Serve as the operational backbone of the marketing department — coordinating workflows, timelines, approval cycles, and deliverable tracking across all MarCom functions including Social Media, Events, Sponsorships, Community, and Digital.
  • Maintain and manage the department master campaign/event calendar and activity tracker, ensuring full visibility across all simultaneous workstreams and flagging scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, or delivery risks proactively to the Head of Dept.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, production houses, and vendors on briefing, timelines, feedback cycles, and final delivery — acting as the central point of contact for operational queries and ensuring quality and deadline standards are consistently met.
  • Support the Head of Dept in preparing executive-level marketing reports, budget utilisation summaries, and performance presentations for leadership, Finance, and board-level updates.
  • Manage internal marketing documentation, SOPs, templates, and reporting frameworks — ensuring the department operates with standardised processes and that all outputs are version-controlled and accessible.

Social Media & Channel Performance Coverage

  • Support with performance and coverage across social media channels — LinkedIn, Instagram, and X — during periods of team absence, working in close coordination with the social media agency to ensure reporting continuity, content scheduling oversight, and engagement monitoring are maintained without interruption.
  • Support in monitoring and reporting on website performance metrics in coordination with the digital marketing consultant and web agency.
  • Support performance tracking of paid digital campaigns — including paid social, search, and display — ensuring spend, delivery, and ROI data are captured accurately and reported against approved budget allocations, in coordination with digital marketing.
  • Stay current with the latest analytics tools, reporting methodologies, and platform updates relevant to B2B digital marketing in the UAE — proactively recommending improvements to the reporting framework as the marketing function scales.

Budget Tracking & Financial Reporting

  • Own the marketing department budget tracker — monitoring actual spend against approved allocations across all workstreams including campaigns, events, sponsorships, agency fees, and production costs — and producing monthly variance reports for the Head of Marketing and Finance.
  • Support the Head of Dept in preparing budget utilisation summaries, reforecast inputs, and spend justification narratives for Finance reviews and leadership presentations — ensuring all financial data is accurate, current, and clearly presented.
  • Coordinate with Finance and procurement teams on purchase order requests, vendor invoicing, and payment tracking related to marketing activities — maintaining accurate records and flagging any discrepancies or delays.

Event Management & Activations

  • Support the coordination and tracking of promotional events, corporate exhibitions, trade shows, community activations, and product launches — maintaining event timelines, logistics trackers, and post-event performance summaries.
  • Support in producing structured post-event reports capturing attendance, engagement, media coverage, lead generation outcomes, and cost-per-outcome data — feeding results into the department-wide performance dashboard.
  • Coordinate with the Events and Sponsorships team members to ensure all event activity is reflected accurately in the department performance tracker, budget records, and monthly reporting cycle.
  • Support the planning and operational coordination of participation in key regional industry events and national milestones — including but not limited to ADIPEC, Make it in the Emirates Forum, LiveX, and Abu Dhabi Industrial Week — ensuring timelines, vendor commitments, and collateral production are tracked and on schedule.

Brand & Quality Assurance

  • Serve as a day-to-day co-guardian of the organisation’s brand identity — ensuring consistent messaging, visual standards, and tone of voice are applied across all marketing materials, reports, presentations, and external-facing outputs.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on marketing deliverables produced by internal team members and external agencies — flagging brand inconsistencies, factual inaccuracies, or presentation issues before publication or distribution.
  • Manage the organisation’s library of brand assets, templates, report formats, and guidelines — ensuring all materials are version-controlled, up to date, and accessible to internal team members and approved external partners.
  • Support the rollout of new brand initiatives, reporting templates, or sub-brand updates — ensuring all new materials are properly documented, distributed, and embedded into the team’s working practices.

Collaboration & Agency Coordination

  • Work closely with the wider teams to align marketing activities with commercial objectives, pipeline priorities, and client engagement initiatives.
  • Act as an essential day-to-day liaison with external agencies, print vendors, production houses, and photography/videography teams – co-developing briefs, timelines, feedback cycles, and final delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across business lines to gather inputs, gain approvals, and ensure marketing output accurately reflects the group’s offerings and positioning.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and service providers, ensuring value for money and quality standards are consistently met.
